For couples who have run into emotional trouble or just want to make sure their relationship gets off to a healthy start, relationship counseling can be highly valuable. At some point, many couples come to an impasse in their relationship due to hurt feelings, lack of communication, constant fighting, and many other reasons. Whether you simply want to improve communication and identify dysfunctional patterns, or you and your partner need to work through issues such as infidelity or adjusting to life as a blended family, counseling can greatly improve your relationship and overall well-being.
For couples or families, we offer several types of counseling:
Our outpatient program offers a flexible schedule of treatment for individuals and their families. We provide various levels of treatment with our highest level being up to 3 hours per week. Our traditional level of care is typically a one hour session once per week. This program allows patients to live at home and maintain a work schedule, while receiving treatment specifically geared towards addressing and treating substance abuse problems.
Therapist-led group counseling is useful both as a supplement or an alternative to individual therapy. It provides real-life feedback and interaction with patients and counselors.
All new patients who wish to participate in group therapy will need to complete an initial assessment, please see our "appointments" page for a list of our insurance providers and fees.

Mindfulness is a state of living in the here and now, a nonjudgmental presence of mind of what is happening in the current moment. Put all your senses to work as you take in the sights, sounds, textures, smells, thoughts, and feelings happening around and within you. Join us as we work together to learn more about how to practice mindfulness and the benefits it can bring to your life.
Body Image Group For Teen Girls
Body image is an issue many teenagers face as they are bombarded by images in the media and talk from their peers that promote impossible levels of perfection.
We have developed a curriculum specific to the needs of teenage girls that are facing issues with the acceptance and appreciation of their bodies. Together, we will challenge the negative messages put forth in fashion magazines, the media, and from their peers.
For more information about group therapy, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone (706) 363-3209 or by scheduling an initial assessment through our "appointments" tab at the top of the page.
