Individual Counseling

Individuals join a trained therapist for one-on-one sessions in a safe and welcoming setting. We provide personalized and evidence-based services for adolescents and adults. Weekly individual therapy sessions generally last 50-60 minutes.

For couples who have run into emotional trouble or just want to make sure their relationship gets off to a healthy start, relationship counseling can be highly valuable. At some point, many couples come to an impasse in their relationship due to hurt feelings, lack of communication, constant fighting, and many other reasons. Whether you simply want to improve communication and identify dysfunctional patterns, or you and your partner need to work through issues such as infidelity or adjusting to life as a blended family, counseling can greatly improve your relationship and overall well-being.

For couples or families, we offer several types of counseling:

  • Individual therapy is also offered for each member of the couple/family in addition to couple's counseling

Social Skills Group for Teens

Beginning in June 2019, Dates TBD

A lack of social skills can manifest as behavioral challenges: arguing with peers, speaking too loudly in class, and problems interacting in a group could be an indication that your teen simply doesn't understand social cues that others take for granted. We would like to help your teen develop these useful skills in an environment where he or she can gain support from a group of peers and build self-awareness. Join us as we provide instruction, practice, and support as your teenager gaines empowerment by learning essential social skills.

For more information about group therapy, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone (706) 363-3209 or by scheduling an initial assessment through our "appointments" tab at the top of the page.
